Good kitchen clean-up working gloves, knives can’t penetrate easy. No cotton lining, tho.
I would first say these are comparable to their blue cleanup ‘cousins’ in the fact that they’re very durable. I like the bright green color alot. What was disappointing was there was BARELY a cotton lining inside. That was ok, cause I’m used to that with the blue ones. But I was hoping for the lining, to utilize that in cleaning, because sometimes I use very hot water in cleaning some pots/dishes. I would hope the manufacturer would do better quality control in producing the next batches of gloves.

Sturdy and durable
Bought these gloves more than a month ago, used them everyday in the kitchen with very hot water, they are still perfect ! Comfortable, slippery the first time I used them but then they proved to be fantastic protecting our hands!

Good but a bit awkward for dishwashing
These are the thickest most industrial quality gloves I’ve found so far after around 6 different brands, and I would rate them a rock-solid five stars if they didn’t advertise them for dishwashing. They are really awkward for residential dishwashing, the fingers are not shaped well for fine scale work. They also run large but even at the right size I don’t think they would feel natural for dishwashing. It’s like trying to pick up a dime wearing mittens. But they do seem to be extremely durable and would be great for other types of work. So my search for simple, durable dishwashing gloves continues….I am updating this because they are actually lasting pretty well, no holes. Anyway, I can feel the mesh material inside is starting to shred. As to the awkwardness, I think I will try them again, and just order a size, smaller… The outer layer is really nice and thick…

Took care of my irritated hands
Before buying these gloves, every time I wash dishes, my hands would turn red and itchy and scaly no matter what I did. After buying these gloves, the rash and redness has completely gone away. They have saved my hands!

Awesome kitchen gloves
After getting sick of tearing those cheap yellow plastic gloves and not being able to find them in large enough sizes, I broke down and splurged on a pair of these. Wow, what a difference. They are heavy duty without seeming to feel bulky and fit my broad hands very well in the Large size. The material on the outside is just tacky enough to easily handle dishes and glassware without dropping them, even when they are soaped up. The material on the inside is an open-weave fabric, reminding me almost of a tight gauze type material (though very thin). It is comfortable on the hands and seems to dry out fairly quickly if the gloves are left propped upright on a wooden spoon after use. If you use them often and just throw them in a bin under the sink, you can expect them to begin to smell a bit like a dirty pair of socks, as the fabric inside will absorb moisture and then grow bacteria/mold if not allowed to dry out completely. My only complaint (and reason for removing a star) is that I wish they had a longer gauntlet; they are slightly shorter than some of the el cheapo grocery store gloves, coming about 4″ past the wrist. It would be nice if they were maybe 2″ longer so that they would allow for immersing the hands into a deep sink full of water and suds without some getting in. They also seem a little expensive (maybe by a few dollars) when compared to the cheap grocery store gloves that are $1.99 each (these are 10x that price). $5 would be a bargain, $6.50 would seem more reasonable to me. That being said, I have not found a better alternative and just ordered my second pair (after puncturing my first pair on accident with a sharp knife point)

Pretty Good
I bought these to replace another pair I had.Pros- Lining is nice, thickness of the rubber is very goodCons- Fingers are a little short, there is no cuff and the sleeve is shorter than most rubber gloves.I will keep them because I like the thickness but will probably have water get in there sometimes soon.

Terrible performace as a dish washer!!
I purchased these to replace my dish washing gloves. Unfortunately, the grip on these gloves are very slippery despite what looks like a textured grip on the gloves. Even my cheap, reusable gloves from the Home Depot has a much better grip on fragile glass than these gloves. I appreciate the comfort from the lining and how heat resistant it is when handling hot water, but I was absolutely disappointed in these pairs.

Comfortable fit
True Blues are better. I bought True Blues gloves and was so happy with them. It is thick enough, has a tight grip, has cotton inside, is heat resistant, and is very comfortable. Unfortunately, this pair I got from Amazon is not as good as True Blues. The Grip, the heat resistance, and the comfortable fit are not as good as Ture BLues

Very thick nice and just fits my tiny hand
I like it because it’s rubber, I bought so many hand gloves already, and they just rip off easily, but this one is really thick but not heavy,I know this will last long I’m happy with my purchase and I recommend it

Advice about my favorite household gloves
TOUGH LOVEThese are the most durable gloves I have found. I use them for washing dishes in scalding hot water, they protect my hands and they last me from six months to a year. My last pair developed a small hole at the end of one of the fingers after about six months, I think it was from a sharp knife that might otherwise have cut me.BREAK THEM INThese gloves must be broken in!! They are very stiff and almost clumsy at first, and slippery too, so I have to be very careful when I first get them. The first few times I forgot about how they need to be broken in got annoyed. After about a week they become flexible and grip the soapy glassware nicely. Over time they soften up and become the best gloves I have used.SIZING IS LOOSEMy hands are normally a large, if I get a large, the fingers of these gloves will be the correct length but the fit will be very loose. If you don’t mind the fingers being a bit short, I suggest getting one size down. This way they will slip on and off easily but they will not be overly loose fitting.SWEET INSULATIONThese gloves really protect my hands. They are made of thick vinyl with a soft lining and they really insulate my hands from near boiling hot water. I have a slight allergy to latex so I appreciate that they are completely latex free and hypoallergenic.

They are good for home use
ALright so to start things off, i bought these gloves to wear for my job. I am a dishwasher at a chinese restaurant (college student summer job yay) and there are a few things i have to clear up. Reading some of the reviews, i have seen people say they are very rigid at first or that they have absolutely no traction and grip. Now either I have the hand of Zeus or these people have the grip of a four year old child because I have not experienced any trouble keeping plates in my grasp. Keep in mind I am handling plates that have had chinese food on them which is like the greasiest food ever imaginable. The only bad thing I have experienced is that the gloves are a bit short, 2-3 more inches and these gloves would literally be perfect. I have trouble with water getting in my gloves….thank God for the cotton lining. I have no problem getting my hands in and out of the glove even when my hands are wet which is a Godsend (size XL gloves by the way). I say these are perfect for home use because sinks at home aren’t nearly as deep as the sinks at the restaurant i work at. Overall good gloves just the length was a little disappointing.PROS:-comfortable-decent grip-slips on and off hands but has a good fit-seem very durable-The green is very flashy hahaCONS:-length is a bit short-LENGTH IS THE ONLY THING MAKING THIS A FIVE STAR

From a dishwasher’s point of view
I am a dishwasher for a living, so this review will address their usefulness in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting.PROS:- VERY tough. I have handled broken glass, dunked them in near-boiling water, touched pans that just came out of the oven, etc. and they have managed to last over a month so far. They are just now starting to crack a bit, but considering that they’re being used for hours on end and dealing with restaurant-level dishes and cleaners, I’d say they’ll last quite a while for around-the-house use.- Cotton liner makes putting on/taking off very easy.- Easily washed – just turn them inside out and run them through your washing machine and they’re good as new.- Made from vinyl and not latex, so those with allergies shouldn’t have any issues.CONS:- If using them for long periods of time, your hands will start to sweat. Not only will this make the gloves smell bad, but if used long enough, the smell can stick to your hands for days, no matter how much you wash them. Make sure to let them air out or wash them after using them.-Even though they have textured hands to allow for greater grip, they are still sort of slippery when wet.As household dishwashing gloves, I would highly recommend them. For restaurant-level dishwashers, though, they might not last you as long as you think. Still, they are very useful, and I would definitely recommend trying them out to see if they fit your needs.

Best Gloves in the market, as of now (2013)
I have a pair of these for more than a year, but wasn’t motivated to write a review until I bought a pair to my mom and she loves it. My mom is allergic to Latex and for years, she used to sew her own cotton gloves liners for gloves and she HATES washing dishes. She would put dishes in front of our room at night, to show us “what we put her through.”Anyways, after I moved out (not because of her “craziness”), after so many other supermarket washing gloves failed on me, I decided to get something better (I just HATE when you were washing stuff, all of a sudden the glove leaks, it was too late and yours hands already got wetten. It’s totally NOT you expected since you wore the gloves at the first place!) So I got my first pair from here more than a year ago, and it has been doing really well. I can put it anywhere, hot, dry, cold, wet and it still hasn’t got any damage to it. I remember the first day I got it, I was so happy because I felt my hands are so protected with the vinyl & cotton lining, I don’t have to worry about the chemicals from detergent. I didn’t recall any issue with being slippery and stiffness, maybe they happened for a very short time, or very occasionally, (well, I am not a professional dishwasher.)If you are living in the US, you maybe able to find these at World Market for cheaper price, but their sizes are limited. I really like good grip so I demand size that actually fit my tiny hands and so far I only found it here.

I must say that these are superior to the Casabellas
These are thick gloves, but not overly so. I would estimate that the thickness to be about twice that of the regular variety, cheap grocery store latex gloves. They are also grip textured on the palm and fingers. My previous favorites were Casabella’s drip-proof gloves, but since Casabella’s inventory problems I have switched to these True Blues.I must say that these are superior to the Casabellas. The thickness protects against the hottest water, the flocking is sturdy and holds up well, the thickness of the glove makes putting them on and taking them off very easy (prevents glove-sticking where you can’t get your hands out after a little water goes in), and the length of the guard is more than adequate to prevent water from seeping in from the top. There are those that complain that this glove is not grippy enough. I disagree. I am always very careful when dishwashing and I try my best to always support my dishes. This doesn’t mean that I’m a slow washer. I’m very fast, probably much faster than the average. Perhaps it is simply that I use a firm grip and I keep in mind how I handle dishes, but it has not been a problem at all and as a matter of fact I’ve hardly changed my washing habits at all to accommodate. For perspective, I am 5’6″ and 155lbs, so I am not a monster gripper at all.I have bought an extra pair to keep as a spare. My current pair has lasted about a year and will probably last one more.

Much better than most sold in grocery stores
Love these gloves! I use them for washing dishes, so even in hot water my hands are not at risk. I have large hands, yet these have a nice inner coating, and are large enough that my hands don’t get stuck inside, nor are they so tight as to necessitate having to peel them off when I am done using them.Over time they do harden up (due to repeated exposure to hot and cold water), so at some point they may develop a crack and start leaking, but if the other glove is still functioning, it can be used with another older glove as a nice protection against chemicals or working with poison ivy in the yard. I will continue to buy these as long as they are available!

Fits Well
I have several pair now. One pair for housework that requires my hands to be in hot liquids for a long time. The other pair I use in beekeeping. Honeybees cannot sting through them and because they fit so well all the way to the finger tips, I don’t squish my bees or otherwise make the unhappy while I work inside the colony. They are nice and thick, but can still easily pick up small items.

They run large
I got the fun lime green color in size medium which arrived exactly when promised. They are plenty roomy and run rather large, but the length of the fingers accommodate my long-ish natural fingernails. Yes, these are great for gripping slippery items in very hot soapy water–great cotton lining gives easy on&off and they’re well insulated, with textured area for the hands; the rest of the glove’s cuff area is long enough to cover lowermost part of the sleeves of long-sleeved shirts. They do stain a bit, particularly when cleaning tomato-based foods from my dishes. I definitely will buy another pair when these wear out. I’d give them 5 stars.

Gloves come up SHORT…just plain STINKS
I really wanted to like this glove because I was tired of shelling out $5-$8 every month or two on dishwashing gloves. These gloves seemed much thicker than the Playtex, Casabella, and Clorox gloves which keep degrading on me (I wash with hot water) and letting in water. From all of the positive reviews on Amazon, I was hoping the pricier True Blues would be a good investment in the long run.Putting on these gloves is ubber comfortable. This is what Playtex gloves used to be like with the cotton lining. I missed the comfort of cotton lined gloves and was excited that these gloves feature the wonderful lining. However, one thing was immediately apparent…the gloves come up short…literally! I prefer gloves come up close to my elbow. These gloves don’t even come halfway up my forearm. I tried creating a cuff at the end to keep water out, but nothing really helps combat the short length of these gloves. I’m left with my hands in uncomfortably wet gloves while I wash if I accidentally get any water on the inside (but it’s not too uncomfortable because of the cotton lining).Since the gloves get wet, you have to turn the gloves inside out in order to ensure the inside dries out. This task in itself is a pain. With the thinner and longer Playtex, Casabella, and Clorox gloves, I just have to flip the gloves inside out, trap in some air, and pop out the five fingers in one move to turn the gloves inside out and vice-versa. These gloves are a test of patience as you have to pry each individual finger out one by one when you turn the glove inside out and back. I can’t use the “balloon” trick to make the fingers flip out because these gloves are too thick and the cuff is too short to let me trap any air in. If you get lazy and don’t turn the gloves inside out, you’ll pay a dirty price.I have been out of town and so people left at home had to pick up the chores I usually do. I am very diligent, but I can’t say that about others. I’m a slight germophobe so one of my pet peeves is dishwashing gloves and sponges that stink so I take measures to ensure things are properly washed out and dried to prevent nasty bacteria from growing. Of course people didn’t take the time to air out the dishwashing gloves when I was gone. Not surprisingly, the gloves stank. Usually, when I wash the Playtex, Casabella, and Clorox gloves with plain dish soap the smell goes away if they became “infected” with odor causing bacteria. I couldn’t get the smell to go away in these True Blues. I regret putting my hands in these gloves for an hour yesterday because now I can’t get rid of the smell from my hands. I have washed them incessantly and they still wreak. My hands are all shriveled and dried from dousing them in Purell and scented hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works. Nothing gets the smell out. I’m so desperate I’m about to soak my hands in an alcohol bath. They’re already cracked and dried from all of the alcohol in the hand sanitizers and anti-bacterial soaps, I don’t really care at this point how dry the rubbing alcohol will make my hands as long as it can get the smell off of my fingers. I’m even typing this review with one hand since only my right hand is “infected” with the stinky smell.I’m preoccupied and obsessed with getting rid of the smell from my fingers, but I can’t get rid of the smell in the gloves either. I put them through the laundry (treatment of detergent, Oxyclean, and Clorox) and that didn’t do anything. I sprayed and soaked them with Odoban and Lysol and the smell is still surprisingly strong. They dried overnight after being doused with with disinfectant sprays, but they still stink. I tried soaking them in Ozonated Water and nothing. Now I’ve drenched it with some 409 and put them out in the sun hoping they’ll dry all freshened. If the smell goes away, I’ll be surprised if these gloves last long after all of the harsh treatments I had to put the gloves through to get rid of the smell.Definitely a lesson learned on these gloves. I’m very disappointed because I wanted to like them. I didn’t have a problem handling dishes with the extra bulk of the gloves. If these gloves ever have a longer cuff in the future, I’ll give them another try. I guess it’s back to spending money every month or two buying the $5-$8 options that degrade very easily.

Best kitchen gloves ever
Love these gloves! This is my second pair. I had the last pair for about 2.5 years. Eventually the finger tips hardened and while they still protected my hands while doing dishes the hard tips caused me to drop and break dishes. Highly recommend these and I am using the old pair for non-dish chores

MUST HAVE THESE IF YOUR HANDS ARE CONSTANTLY IN WATER
I used to purchase this type of glove all the time, then it seemed to be impossible to find during the pandemic. Now I’m seeing many options for these on Amazon. I’m very happy with my purchase — I have large hands, long fingers so I ordered the large. They are more roomy than I need but I don’t want to downsize as that would most likely make the finger length inadequate. If you want gloves that totally protect your hands and forearms, give these a try.

Sausage Fingers
There’s not a lot of dexterity when wearing these, but they are otherwise very durable and do a great job of protecting against scalding hot water when washing dishes. If I could change anything it would be to make the fingers smaller and more flexible and maybe make the sleeves a little longer or tighter. You have to be careful not to get water down your arm.

Durable kitchen gloves
These gloves appear to be sized for men just as a caution. I’m extremely pleased with the thickness of these gloves enabling me to wash dishes in very, very hot water with no feeling of hotnwas to my hands. They are thick enough to protext against sharp knives while hand washing as well. I’m curious to see how long they last without a leak. I would purchase again if I see longevity in their lifespan as I use them daily. The flocked material inside provides a nice comfort to the fit. Much better than regular lined gloves from the store. Well done !

Why the low Percentage of 5 – star reviews? These gloves are GREAT !!!
I came back to this page to check if these gloves are still available through Amazon — I’m glad they are! This grandmother has been hand washing dishes for years in scalding water, with many different kinds of rubber gloves; these are hands-down the VERY BEST GLOVES I’ve ever had. They last a long, long time (well over a year with daily use)They protect your hands extremely well (no problems with the hottest water)andThey are comfortable to use (good tactile sense, the cotton liner really helps!)I don’t know why these gloves aren’t rated much higher than the 62% I saw for 5 – star ratings. What’s not to love? For the past 7 years, I’ve used this brand. I’ve washed them in my washing machine to refresh them (turn inside out first) I’ve used them for heavy household cleaning chores (washing floors with detergents and hot water)— and all without problems. For those who insist upon using bleach and wearing these gloves – you will find non-latex gloves to be somewhat affected by bleach. After all, bleach is a strong oxidizer and will oxidize metal. If you must use bleach and wear these, minimize the damage by washing the gloves (wear them while you do this) in cool water and use a mild soap like Dove dishwashing detergent. You will stop the oxidation and remove a good amount of the bleach residue off the gloves. If you use bleach routinely while cleaning, look perhaps for industrial gloves that are impervious to chemicals. You’ll probably get more wear out of them, but they won’t be as stylish as these ; )I live with my 97 year old mom, and we have lots of family visit who use the gloves we have at the sink — mom’s pair doesn’t last like mine — she replaces hers at a ratio of about 4-5 pairs for every 1 pair of these. So, they are cost effective.I have no connection with the manufacturer or seller of these gloves – just a lifetime’s worth of experience washing dishes.UPDATE: August 28, 2023This is the third pair I’ve purchased in 14+ years. The other two didn’t wear out or leak….they were demoted – 1 for use doing bathroom cleaning, and 1 for outdoor/garden use.NONE of them have broken down in all that time: multiple machine washings & dryings outside (leave em inside out till dry) nothing affects these gloves.I recommend turning the cuffs down slightly to prevent water getting inside.Lately my arthritis has made my grip less secure, so I’m extra careful with big bowls, delicate glasses, etc. I think a set of rubber sink liners is in my future.

Latex-free, insulated and cotton-lined for comfort … these thick hypo-allergenic gloves work well in hot water
These are indeed the ‘ultimate household gloves’. Being made of vinyl (and of course, latex free) is what makes them ‘ultimate’.When my allergies act up, I seem to react to everything – including even the mildest dishwashing liquid. Hence the need for waterproof latex free gloves. These hypo-allergenic gloves do the job just fine!PROS:These gloves are made of a tough vinyl shell that can withstand harsh dishwashing cleaners. The vinyl shell also insulates my hands so I can safely use really hot water when washing a sinkful of greasy dishes. The vinyl around the glove’s fingers and palm is slightly roughened for a good grip on soapy dishes.Gloves measure about 12″ long with 5″ cuffs … so, I can easily reach for those dishes at the very bottom of my kitchen sink full of sudsy water.I also have the option of folding back the long cuffs on these gloves … this prevents water from running back on my arms while doing the dishes. (SEE PHOTOS IN CUSTOMER IMAGES)The generous cotton liner makes this kitchen glove super comfortable. The cotton liner also allows me slip these gloves on and off with utmost ease. These gloves come in really cool colors … so, they are fun to wear!Gloves, especially, cotton lined gloves, would need washing. I machine wash these gloves on gentle cycle and line dry to get them really clean.HINT: I fold the cuffs all the way back to the fingers before machine washing and, again to line dry. So, my gloves are always clean and odor free.CONS:These vinyl gloves are thick. However, I adjusted quickly to the thickness without any loss of dishes! :)I find that new gloves are a bit stiff at first, but they soon soften up nicely.ABOUT SIZING: These cotton lined gloves slip on and off easily so, ‘Medium’ would be a snug fit for hands that would otherwise use ‘Large’ in the yellow household gloves. If you like your gloves loose fitting, then buy your regular glove size! The fingers on these gloves are a bit short but I don’t find it a problem … Actually this makes it so much easier to deep clean these gloves (when I turn them inside out) to machine wash and line dry.Overall, I recommend the
True Blues Ultimate Household Gloves
to anyone looking for gloves that are both comfortable and durable. If you are also looking for latex free hypo-allergenic household and garden gloves … then you found them … just decide on the color – green, red, purple, pink or plain old True Blue!NOV 2011 UPDATE: After 1 year of dishwashing duty, my green True Blue gloves developed a pinhole leak and, are now retired to doing light duty as my ‘dry weather’ gardening gloves :))JUNE 2013 UPDATE: My replacement pair is now 17 months old and is still doing active dishwashing duty! However, the cotton inner liner has gotten understandably thinner after over a year and a half of daily use and dozens of baths in the clothes washer :))I am going to ‘retire’ this pair now, solely for the comfortable feel of the thicker cotton lining in a new pair of
True Blue gloves
!I certainly got my money’s worth out of these gloves over the years … but still, I wouldn’t mind if these gloves were more affordably priced.Hope my review and updates were helpful … Jeffrey A. (Jeff)

These are GREAT!
I went through three pairs of the store-bought gloves, trying to find a pair that fit my size large mans hands. One pair, labeled “large” was so tight I could barely get them on. The only way to take them off was to pull them off inside out. One pair had NO lining inside whatever. The disposable gloves from a big-box store worked OK, but were not lined and did not last very long. These gloves, size X-Large, fit my hands loosely enough to be easy to put on and take off. They are made of a thick, durable “rubber” that will last. The cotton lining is thick enough that I can use the hottest water to wash dishes without any fear of getting burned. The cuffs are long enough that I have never gotten water inside the gloves by mistake. I think I will put these gloves on a subscription program, just to be sure I have a new pair on hand when the older ones do wear out. Eventually.

Great glove but takes some getting used to for doing dishes
At our house the kitchen appliances are all black & stainless steel except the dishwasher . . . that is flesh colored. As such, I do a lot of dishes by hand. I have dry skin and in the winter months the dish water actually dry’s my hands out even further producing painful cracks so I have to were gloves. I have gone through many (many) of the cheap yellow latex gloves and thought I would try something more heavy duty in the True Blues Ultimate Household gloves. When I first slipped these on I was impressed. They defiantly are heavy duty gloves. Even as a man, my hands are not very large and I liked that I did not have to purchase one-size-fits-all with the True Blues. I bought medium and they are comfortably roomy. My opinion changed somewhat the first time I did the dishes. The gloves are textured but not enough to overcome the dish soap and they become very slippery. I had dishes and glassware flying all over. I am lucky not to have broken anything. Now that I am used to the gloves I have less issues with slips. They are very strong, comfortable, and I can put my hands into very hot water. I believe that with the proper care these gloves should last a long time. The nearest competitor of the True Blues on Amazon at this time appears to be the Casabella Latex Free Heavy Duty Rubber Gloves (not the Casabella Premium Water Stop Gloves—those are latex). These are sold as one-size-fits-all. Reviewers state that they are quite large and slippery as well. I’m going to stick with the True Blues and just ordered a different colored pair for use with other household tasks.I should mention that my gloves arrived with black marks on them. It looked like someone stepped on them while they were lying on a dirty floor. The True Blues are machine washable (line dry) however I removed the marks with just soap and water.I can recommend the True Blues especially if you want a smaller then one-size-fits-all glove that is not latex however I am deducting a star for being slippery.

These glove may outlive me!
These replaced a pair I purchased more than 10 years ago. They have been the most reliable, comfortable gloves I’ve ever had for washing up in the kitchen. Occasionally I wash them inside out to keep them fresh. Well the last time I was dismayed to find the tip of one finger was hard and discolored, and had a horrible smell. I tried bleaching them and using all kinds of soaps to try and refreshen them. I finally realized that they were beyond redemption. When I tried to inflate it, I realized there had to be one or more micro holes in the fingertip. When I purchased them they were sold under a different name. Now I see they are branded by this name too. No other glove could ever compare to them and I was so happy to know I could replace them. You can easily use full strength hot water from the tap and never feel a thing. Don’t bother trying to compare them to others, they are beyond compare! Buy them TODAY!

Love ‘Em So Much, Buying Hubby A Pair!
How many pairs of cheapy gloves have you purchased over the years? I would burn through a pair in less than a month. Tossing it into the garbage felt so unnecessary, and grated against my desire to live a reasonably earth-friendly life. The alternative was immersing the hands in hot soapy water, which as we all know, leads to red, dry, rough skin. I would begrudgingly return to those earth-sucking gloves, feel guilty about adding to the landfill and on and on the cycle would repeat. This all stopped when I met these little magic blue guys.QUALITY: The gloves are made of a sturdy vinyl, eliminating any worries concerning latex allergies. They are lined with thick cotton — I mean thick cotton, not the wimpy stuff that pills and deteriorates all over your hands. This enables your hands to feel nice and comfy while you use the hottest of water.GRIP: The fingertips are textured, which assists when you’re holding a sudsy item. This is completely subjective, but I personally wish they were slightly more textured so I could have a better grip. I don’t have the strongest of hands, and sometimes when the dishcloth is inside the glass cup, I have a little slipping action occurring. This is easily remedied with by holding the glass with a clean hand towel. And, let it be known this has been an issue with almost every glove I have used. And this also doesn’t happen every time.FIT: The gloves are about 12″ long with a nice form-fitting cuff that allows you to tuck your shirt sleeves in, prevents water from accidentally seeping in. I have remarkably small hands, so the small was actually too large by about 1/2″ on each finger. This was not a problem, but most likely, now that I think about it, attributed to the issue I described under GRIP.CARE: It is of utmost importance that these, as with any gloves, be aired out properly. This not only lengthens the life of the gloves but prevents them from smelling. Another reviewer mentioned washing his gloves. He turned them inside out and placed the washer setting on gentle (line dry). Mine are not yet at that point, but certainly good to know for future reference.COLOR: I appreciate that the gloves are offered in a variety of colors and not female-specific. Ladies: You certainly don’t want to discourage the men in your life from doing some heavy cleaning by offering them your pink polk dotted gloves! While cute for us, most fellows would not appreciate them. (Although, my husband wouldn’t give a rip…but not all men are as secure in their masculinity. Sorry, guys, don’t mean to generalize!)Without question I would recommend the True Blues Ultimate Household Gloves, and am actually going to buy another pair for the husband, so he can quite stealing mine!

Ill-fitting, clumsy design makes chores even harder
I am searching for a pair of durable dishwashing gloves. My usual gloves get tears after ~2 weeks of use but are otherwise great. I saw these durable, heavy duty gloves and thought they would be a good upgrade! The material is thick and the hands/fingers are textured. That is all the good I can say about them.I ordered a L, I wear M or L gloves depending on manufacturer. These were somehow both too big and too small. Finger length was inadequate, I fought with the gloves constantly because they were not form-fitting and felt like a clumsy toddler (had the dexterity of one too) because the fingers stopped at least an inch short of where they should have. I felt like I was wearing rubber mittens and was fighting to grasp and manipulate things. The rest of the glove was quite large and not form fitting at all, leaving a too-big gap between my forearm and the edge of the gloves. Water sloshed into the gloves almost immediately while doing a normal sink load of dishes. As someone who needs gloves to do household chores due to sensory issues, these gloves are a total miss. Everything about them is just slightly off making the experience of wrestling with (wearing) them just as bad as it would be to do dishes by naked hand and deal with the squick feeling.Additionally, if the ill-fitting design isn’t enough to deter, the label they came with clearly stated not to use them with any household cleaners or chemicals. Why are they labeled household cleaning gloves if they shouldn’t be used with household chemicals?

3 1/2 stars for only choice available now for my needs.
In the past, I’ve always bought Juvale brand cleaning gloves. They are lined for cleaning in hot water and you get two pairs for about the same price as this Kitchen-Star brand. I liked the Juvale better. Unfortunately, they aren’t available and I need a new pair of gloves. These Kitchen-Star gloves are not as long and the cuff isn’t as tight on my arm as the Juvale brand. I’ve been wearing a heavy-duty rubber band on each cuff to prevent water from entering. My experience is the inside of the glove will start to smell bad once the inside gets wet and nothing will keep it from getting worse. The other gloves available are too thin to protect form very hot water. These gloves do a good job protecting my hand from very hot water. I used them everyday and the rubber bands are helping to keep water from splashing inside the gloves.

Great Williams Sonoma glove dupe!
These gloves are amazing. Much thicker than any you might find in a big box store, but are flexible enough to easily grip wet dishes and whatever else you need. Got spoiled using Williams Sonoma gloves for many years, but they were out of stock during and after the pandemic… now they are only available in M and L and my hands are most definitely a small. These are silid gloves that protect against chemicals and HOT dishwater. I have thick, small hands and they don’t feel constricting at all. Highly recommend.

Great gloves
I use these for washing dishes in my kitchen sink. I can have the hottest water on and don’t feel it.. But they are a bit thick which makes it a little harder to hold the dishes, but I get it done. I don’t think they will break down at all as the thickness is there. I love these gloves. But for doing dishes I would get the same ones if I could just a little less thick.
